Powder fire extinguishers are designed to protect industrial and household premises, for use on automobile, railway, river transport and in domestic conditions as primary means of extinguishing fires of classes A (solid combustible substances), B (liquid combustible substances), C (gaseous combustible substances) and electrical installations under voltage up to 1000 V. Fire extinguishers are not designed to extinguish fires of alkaline and alkaline earth metals and materials, gorenje which can occur without air access.
